Overview
2+2 Bachelor of Science in Nursing
The 2+2 pre-licensure BSN degree is an innovative 4-year program designed to prepare individuals for professional registered nursing practice and leadership. The degree consists of 127-128 semester credits, including 64 credits from arts and science courses and 63 nursing credits.
Students begin by taking two prerequisite years of general education courses at Hong Kong Adventist College under the affiliated program with Andrews University. Students will transfer to Kettering College and begin nursing courses in year 3.
At Kettering College students enroll full-time in the program and attend courses (fall, winter, and summer semesters).
Clinical experiences begin in year three. As an integral part of the Kettering Medical Center and the Kettering Health Network, the division of nursing offers a rich array of clinical experiences which occur within the hospitals of the Kettering Health Network, as well as in a variety of excellent healthcare facilities within the community.

Career Prospects
Graduates are qualified to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) in the state of their choice.
Admission Requirements
1. Hong Kong Diploma in Secondary Education (HKDSE)
Level 3 in English and Chinese Language
Level 2 in Mathematics and Liberal Studies
Level 2 in an elective subject
2. 12-year High School Graduate
Overall GPA 2.50
3. Diploma in Pre-University Studies
Successful completion with a Graduating GPA of 2.25
4. Other equivalent internationally recognized examination result
Such as IB, ACT/SAT, GCE A-level
Students who do NOT meet the minimum requirements may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
English Language Proficiency:
Students who score below Level 3 in English Language in HKDSE or Below IELTS 6.5/TOEFL IBT 80, are required to complete and pass the English Language Program.
